With a Master of Science in Agricultural, Environmental, and Development Economics from Ohio State University and extensive experience in managing multi-million-dollar funds and projects, Mr. Gole has been instrumental in driving economic growth and stability in Somalia and Somaliland. Previously, as Director of Shuraako One Earth Future Foundation/Shuraako, Mr. Gole managed a $2 million operating budget and oversaw a $28.0 million Nordic Horn of Africa Opportunities Fund credit investment portfolio. His leadership in establishing strategic partnerships and managing complex financial and business development projects has been instrumental in driving economic development and stability in the region. Mr. Gole’s expertise in the fund and project management, including his oversight of the Nordic Horn of Africa Opportunities Fund and other key initiatives, demonstrates his commitment to promoting sustainable economic growth and development. His dedication to capacity building and investment facilitation has made him a key figure in the economic development landscape of Somalia and Somaliland.
